(1) Wet braking test by TÜV SÜV Product Service at Michelin’s request, between 80 and 20 km/h, in August 2019, on the 235/65 R16 115/113 R dimension fitted to LCV MB Sprinter 316CDI comparing MICHELIN Agilis 3 tyres (31.9 m and 38.1 m) with competitor tyres BRIDGESTONE DURAVIS R660 (36.7 m and 49.4 m); CONTINENTAL CONTIVANCONTACT 100 (32.5 m and 47.5 m); GOODYEAR EFFICIENTGRIP CARGO (31.3 m and 40.7 m); PIRELLI CARRIER (30.6 m and 37.3 m) and HANKOOK VANTRA LT RA18 (34 m and 44.4 m). (2) MICHELIN Agilis 3 wet grip for the 235/65 R16 115/113 R dimension, new and worn, is above the threshold of the European regulation R117. “Worn” means worn on a machine (buffed) to the tread wear indicator based on the European wear indicator regulation ECE R30r03f. (3) “Last kilometre” means down to the minimum legal tread depth (1.6 mm). Please refer to the minimum legal tread depth in your country.
Tread durability
(1) According to an internal wear study, in October 2018, comparing MICHELIN Agilis 3 tyres (50,585 km) with MICHELIN Agilis + (42,595 km) in 235/65 R 16C 115/113R dimension on Renault Master 130 HP 3.5 T with a critical differential of 10%. The position of Michelin Agilis 3 tyres is 107 vs. 100 for Michelin Agilis + tyres. Longevity test conducted in average real-world conditions (D50) over 16,231 km, and extrapolated for estimated longevity at 1.6 mm.
